WATCH: Bad Indians — “The Path Home” [Scopitone VidBox Session]

November 16, 2011

Made In Michigan, Video

Ypsilanti isn't really known for underground rock 'n roll, but Bad Indians might change that shceme of things with their newest 7"

Bad Indians aren’t from New York, or from San Francisco, and they’re definitely not making music in the 1960s for Max’s Kansas City. But this fuzz is charged up, and I guarantee if you put on The Path Home, their newest 7″, at some hipster smoke session before a show you’d get things like, “This’s pretty good. Is this the Velvet Underground?” or “Are these guys on Slumberland?” No, they’re from Ypsilanti, and are probably making the best underground rock ‘n roll in the state of Michigan.

Recently they stopped in Grand Rapids for a show at Mexicains Sans Frontieres and to record a session for Scopitone VidBox. Check out “The Path Home” below, and listen to the 7″ on Bad Indians bandcamp.
